At 24, I’m this over-ambitious package stuffed into a short, stout, happy, body. A gigantic foodie with an enormous love for baking and cooking, I set up my food blog The Foodscape two years ago. Since, I’ve gotten a lot better at writing, baking and food photography.
Up until a few months ago, I was a features writer for magazines and online portals by day, both in freelance and full-time capacities. While I still freelance once in a while, in a way to keep in touch with my roots (I’m a nerd), by night I’m a couch potato! And somewhere in between, I am what my boyfriend calls ‘the best girlfriend in the world!’ Go figure! Oh, did I mention that I squeeze blogging, reading and studying photography in there somewhere? Yep, I’ve got a lot on my plate. 😉
Someday I’d like to be a published author; and something tells me it’s going to be a cookbook! (If you’re saying ‘DUH!’, you know me well!) I want to take this blog to new heights and keep working to produce content – both in terms of what I write and the photography I style and shoot – that is of great value to you all. And to travel the world with the love of my life would be a dream come true! So many dreams, so little time…
In short, I’m working on living a Julia Childs meets Carrie Bradshaw kinda life; minus the love-life drama, and fashion extravaganza, but with a lot of butter and cake!
Thank you for joining me on this crazy journey, Dear Reader, and welcome to The Foodscape! ❤
